Bipods

Bipods offer the shooter a method to stabilize their weapon for more accurate shot placement at longer ranges. Most fold up when not in use with their legs aligned parallel to the barrel. I’ve found the 7-13” height most useful, as shooting at longer ranges will typically allow for assuming the prone position and it’s in this position the bipod has proven most useful for me. The longer bipods are adapted for sitting and even standing positions, but their additional bulk has offset any advantages for me.
