Coruña:Right so after drilling thru and making the key hole a little bigger all Mallorca had to do was insert the end of a flat head screw driver and give it a turn and voila.

Obiedo:It was so cool when the door opened

Mallorca:I’ve drilled through a bunch of locks but still every time a door gives way to the touch of your hand and you see that black strip of darkness inside widening and widening until the whole door frame is a black rectangle and your hit with that closed in smell thats all cold from construction inside its such a fucking high.

Jaén:When we opened the door to my place it smelled like paint hahahahaha It was a super modern building they’d just finished putting up when the recession hit and they never sold more than 4 or 5 flats.

Ceuta:Hahahahaha brilliant

Gari:So then I went in. I went in with Oviedo and we took a quick look at the house and everything looked good.

Obiedo:I wouldn’t have said it looked good. The floor is really uneven and like we said the roof has a hole the size of a table in it. But its like we talked about at the meeting 2 or 3 weeks ago about how a house can be good for some and not for others and Gari judged this house to be good for her and still thinks so so thats that.

Mallorca:I went in for a minute to put on the new lock and its true the ceiling has caved in but its nothing a few day’s work wouldn’t fix.

Murcia:There’s still the risk of administrative eviction if they want to kick you out by having the building condemned.

Palma:But in that case they’d be evicting you for your own safety hahahaha … …

Various members:Hahahahaha … …

Gari:I understood that about administrative eviction. But so far nothings happened. I’m really happy about that.

Jaén:Finish telling us how it was once you were in and all that

Gari:So I stayed there and everybody else left. I locked the new lock from the inside.

Ceuta:And you said there haven’t been any neighbours or cops or anything?

Gari:Nothing. I’ve been completely alone the last 3 days except that first night when we did the thing with the pizza to get a receipt with the date. Since I don’t have a phone Badajoz made the call. I paid for the pizza.

Nata:What’s the thing with the pizza Gari?

Gari:The first or second day your squatting your supposed to order a pizza because whenever you order food for delivery the delivery guy gives you a receipt with your address and the date. That’s proof so you can say you’ve been living there since that day. Because if you’ve been living in a house for more than 3 days they can’t evict you as fast, right?

Various members:Right right right …

Tarragona:Right. If you can show you’ve been there for over 72 hours then they can’t evict you right away because they can’t claim they caught you in flagrantay.

Gari:You can also order something besides pizza as long as they give you a receipt.
