JONATHAN WAS KIND ENOUGH to have his waiting car drop her off at Will’s apartment block. She thanked him and promised to stay in touch. She got out and stared up at the huge downtown apartment building. Will was renting a place that management found for him, and he’d made it clear he had no intention of buying a place. Allie walked up to the front door and hit the button to his apartment. The door buzzed and clicked open. Allie walked to the elevator and waited for it to arrive impatiently. She couldn’t wait to see him.

With the ding of the elevator she watched as the doors slowly opened. She didn’t think they could have moved any slower. She got on and hit the button to the fourteenth floor and the doors closed as slowly as they opened. The elevator inched up and she was relieved no one else was on it with her. When it finally reached Will’s floor, and the doors creaked open, Will was waiting for her. She jumped into his outstretched arms.

“I’ve missed you,” she said, placing a kiss on his lips.

“It’s been too damn long. Let me get you into my apartment.”

She squealed when he picked her up and carried her into his apartment.

“Where are you taking me?”

“To the bedroom. Don’t even try to argue with me.”

And she didn’t.

In seconds he had her out of her clothes and was massaging her breasts, playfully sucking and licking each nipple. They peaked at the attention and Allie let out a soft moan. She missed this. She needed this.

“How was New York?” he asked, covering her body with his, then moving to kiss her neck as his hands slipped between her legs.

“Good,” she managed to get out as Will slipped a finger between her lips and began to gently rub her center.

“Just good?” he asked, tracing kisses down her jaw.

“It was fine,” she said breathlessly.

“I’m guessing you’re glad to be here, then?”

“Yes,” she murmured as one of his fingers slipped inside her. She was already so wet. Why did her body betray her so quickly? She would have loved to string him along a little longer. Make him work a little harder.

“I’m glad you’re here, too.”

She wiggled beneath him to grasp at his belt buckle. She wanted to feel his skin against hers.

“If you’re so glad, then get your clothes off.”

He laughed at that, a deep, throaty laugh that turned her on even more. He rose up and off her and she felt the chill now that he was gone, but he wasn’t gone for long. She watched with anticipation as he pulled off his shirt then his blue jeans. Every time she saw him, she couldn’t get enough of him. He was perfection.

Once again he was on her, pulling her close. This time, she reached down to grab him, his hardness smooth in her hand. She teased him at first, short and slow strokes that would only drive him crazy. He did the same as his fingers found her core again, gently kneading as two fingers now slipped inside her.
