● ¼ cup of diced onion

● ¼ cup of diced celery

● ⅓ cup of sliced or slivered almonds

● ⅛ teaspoon of salt

● 2 ¼ cups of chicken broth

● 1 cup of uncooked converted rice

● 3 tablespoons of butter

Instructions:

1) Use a medium saucepan with a lid to melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Pour in 1 cup of uncooked converted rice and sauté it for 2 to 4 minutes, until some of the rice starts to turn light brown. Heat up the chicken broth in a microwave oven for approximately 3 to 4 minutes, until the broth starts to bubble. As the rice starts to turn brown, quickly pour the hot broth over it and add salt. Cover the saucepan, lower the heat, and let the rice simmer for 20 minutes
