Ron asks Jerry: You referred to the occasional moments when Esther and you celebrated the Jewish celebration 'Shabbat'. Was Esther Jewish?

Jerry answers: We both had very structured religious instruction early on in our lives. Esther is not Jewish. But none of the publications had all the answers, so we must get our own direct channel to the source of universal knowledge. We are all permitted to seek the truth in our own time.

Ron's comment: Many noticed Esther released very little information about the death of Jerry, and she did not dwell excessively on his passing. According to Jewish culture, mourners and family members should not show excessive grief and cemetery visitations should be kept to a minimum. It is also a Jewish tradition to stay in mourning for seven days after the passing of a love one. This may explain Esther's delay in telling the world Jerry had passed.
