More than anything before it, the public defrocking split the Canadian Bandidos into two separate and adversarial sides: the official Canadian Bandidos, who rallied behind Muscadere and begged the Texans to reconsider their decision and for Bandidos from other countries to come to their aid, and the upstarts, led by Kellestine and Sandham, who secretly communicated with the Texans to allow them to reform the club in Winnipeg without the Torontonians.

Frustrated with the Canadians’ lack of communication and money, the Texans made one last-ditch offer to the No Surrender Crew, according to the Crown. They would allow them to remain Bandidos on the condition that Muscadere (whom they considered stupid, pompous and cowardly) step down as president and that the more stable Kriarakis take over the club’s reins.

The Crown claimed that Muscadere responded cryptically.
