Step 4:

Once you have blended your chalk, you can add leaf lines to complete the leaf.

Step 1: Starting from a single point, draw two symmetric horizontal lines. Then draw a vertical line up from your starting point, and finish with two lines falling at a 45 degree angle in between.

Step 2: Draw the outline of one half of your leaf. Don’t worry about perfection here. Every leaf is different, and each leaf part will be different, too.

Step 3: Continue to make the outline of your maple leaf. The original five lines should guide you in placing the leaf outline. Once the outline is done, you can add your highlight.
