Two hours later and a Fenty beat by me, my cousin was ready for her date. She was really into this dude because she made sure to go all out for this date and even though I felt little congested and my back was killing me, I still did her makeup which took me an hour to do.

“Okay, girl. I will see you a little later, call me if you need anything,” she said, pulling down the red halter dress that she was wearing.

“Okay mom doesn’t do anything that I wouldn’t do,” I said, with a smile.

“Uhh huh Chica and the same goes for you,” she grabbed her keys and she was out of the door to her date.

I went and hopped in the shower before Lex texted me saying that he was on his way asking did I want anything to eat. I told him whatever he got was fine, but I was now feeling a little awkward after my talk with Sherry. I didn’t want to lead Lex on, but I was definitely not into him. We had spent some time together, but it was on always on some chill buddy-buddy type stuff. I just figured we were both new to town and didn’t know anyone.

After my shower, I applied some mango shea butter to my body and noticed that my shape was changing. With me not being really active lately and trying to shield myself from society, I stayed in stuffed my face. One thing that didn’t changed during my depressive stated was my eating habits, if anything it increased.

Slipping into one of my old college oversized sweatshirts and a basic pair of leggings, I heard my phone chime signaling that Lex as at the door.

“Yo, yo,” he said, as soon as I opened the door. That was hat he said every time he greeted me. It had only been a little over a week and he had been over at least four times and in that times, I learned a little about him. He had come to Ohio for a business opportunity with his uncle and get this, he had grown up in Virginia. It was d a small world that though I hadn’t grown up in Virginia, but most of my adulthood was there and I had never crossed paths or heard of Lex before.

Lex had brought us some burgers, fries and shakes and by the time I finished it all, I was stuffed and not in the mood to twist his Dreads that damn near came to his ass. I was ready to lay it down, but I wouldn’t do him like that.

“Come on big head, let’s get to it,” I said, sitting on the couch and opening my legs for him to sit in between them. I turned on some old school Keyshia Cole when she was Falling out and just wanted it to be over and I was done his hair in no time. He was knocked out in between my legs and I had managed to twist his hair in one hour and thirty minutes.
