Chris grabbed his backpack and hustled into the train station before anyone could ask him what he was doing. He stopped in the station waiting area and began his search. After walking the entire perimeter, he found what he was looking for sitting outside the restroom area—a cleaning cart.

An attendant was taking something off the cart so Chris stopped and leaned against the wall pretending to look at the train schedule board hanging from the ceiling. After the attendant turned and entered the Ladies Room, Chris walked over to the cart and grabbed a handful of trash bags and several rolls of toilet paper. He rushed into the Men’s Room, entered the handicap stall, locked the door and began rolling the trash bags so they would fit neatly into his backpack. Not so for the toilet paper rolls. After a few minutes of unsuccessfully trying to rearrange his bag, he took out a trash bag and threw the rolls into the bag. He tied the end of the bag, slung it over his shoulder, unlocked the door and pushed it open.

Staring at him from across the restroom was the cleaning attendant. The man looked at the trash bag Chris was holding then back at Chris. Chris nodded to the man as he walked out—quickly. When he reached the station exit, his heart began to pound. He thought to himself, it’s only adrenaline. Just keep walking.
