Chapter 20 - Bonjour

I can’t believe I caved. Counseling. Of course, after Sean got me to agree to it last night and, like a true husband, Sean somehow left me with the responsibility of finding the therapist.

And so like the wife, the controller I have come to be, I agree. Shit.

But, I was thankful that, after getting Zach put to bed, Sean decided to not push things with anymore deep kisses. Easy target that I am I might have said the hell with counseling and jumped into bed with him. A bit of the old sexual healing and all. Hell, the way I’m feeling now, maybe I should have just gone and done it. Gotten him out of my system. But he left, giving me a chaste peck on the forehead, which still gave me more of a tingle than I care to admit.

Like an ass, I was feeling ever so slightly optimistic about us, until later when flipping channels by accident, on purpose, I happen upon Sean’s show, and wham! One look at Dana, the home wreaker, and emotionally I’m right back to square one, tossing the remote, feeling crappy and insecure. Shit, maybe I need counseling myself more than the two of us together. Why am I even playing this stupid game? Maybe I should just cut and run.

Either that or cancel my cable subscription.
