Katerina
After watching the Devils’ morning skate, I left the rink and spent the rest of the morning hunting around downtown for the food I wanted. I was so excited to cook for Derek and let him sample some of our traditional Russian cuisine. I planned to make pirozhki, fried puff pastries packed with meat, cabbage and cheese; pelmeni, dumplings filled with mincemeat; shashlyk, lamb and veggies on a skewer; blinis, knishes and so much more.
Figuring the boys beat me home after their morning skate, I entered the condo as quietly as I could. Hockey players loved to take game day naps after their morning skate, and I didn’t want to wake them. Sure enough, Derek was asleep on the couch. I lugged my grocery haul and stealthily put it away in the fridge.
Quietly, I tiptoed down the hall and checked Sasha’s bedroom. He was asleep on his bed, too. I pulled his door shut and went back to the living room.
I lifted Derek’s bedsheets. His body was so big and warm, he radiated heat like a blast furnace. I crawled beneath the covers and laid next to him. Instinctively, he sensed me and wrapped his arms around me as he slept.
God, how I loved being in his arms! He held me so tight, I felt as if he could squeeze all of life’s worries right out of me. I kissed him on the mouth and he moaned contentedly in his sleep. Slowly, his lips began to move with mine, and as we kissed each other, he began to wake. Slowly, his sleepy eyes cracked open.
When he realized he was kissing me, his eyes shot wide with worry.
“I didn’t mean to scare you,” I said, whispering as quietly as I possibly could. “I hope you weren’t expecting someone else?”
“Katerina,” he whispered back, his body tense with fright. “You can’t be here—you can’t do that.”
“It’s okay. Sasha’s asleep.” I ran my fingers over his clenched muscles until they began to ease.
“Yeah … but …”
I wrapped my hands around his thick wrists and guided his hands to my breasts. Over my t-shirt, he gingerly squeezed at my boobs. His bottom lip jutted out, as if groping me made him sad.
“Aw. Why do you look so troubled, my sweet guy?”
“Katerina … we can’t …”
I grinned. “You love to say that, don’t you? But it’s so fun to sneak around like this.” I sneaked my hands down his waist and fondled the bulge between his legs. I teased my nails up and down his length, and he grew plump and firm in my hands. “Isn’t it?”
The poor guy didn’t know how to answer—he looked so racked with guilt as I began to tug him!
“I feel awful about last night,” I whispered dramatically.
“Why?” he stammered.
“Because you spent so much time making me feel good,” I whispered as I began to lower myself down his body, “and I was too tired to return the favor.”
“Katerina …” he meekly protested.
But he fell silent when I pulled his boxers down.
