Subject: They Meet

Leyanna and Lanh, of course. LnL. The Elles. Wait, not quite. Whatever. We all met at first at the Minneapolis Institute of Art, mainly because they currently have a jewelry exhibit. Leyanna’s already seen it with Jackson and Whitney since Whitney has been her jewelry crafting hook-up, but she begged to go again. It’s a pretty cool exhibit. Amazing beadwork and gold-plated sandals! I would totally rock those sandals or any metal shoes tbh. I don’t know if Lanh was totally into the jewelry itself. He did, however, have a lot of interest in the histories of the various pieces and asked Leyanna a lot of awesome questions about how she makes her jewelry and her thought process behind it all.

Then we imagined famous people and others we know wearing various pieces. I took a few photos of what I could see on Tracy and Sayeed at the café. There was a crown Sayeed would absolutely rock. I kinda want Leyanna to make a replica of it for him. The point is, though, LnL were totally on the same wavelength and got all Project Runway with it all. Well, how I imagine Project Runway to be since I’ve never seen the show. Leyanna loves it (she watches it with Jax and Whitney)—and apparently, Lanh does, too!

We ate pizza for dinner because at least part of the meet had to be cliché, and now I’m freaking out because Leyanna loves Lanh, and this is why it’s so nerve-wracking to have Potential Partners meet Permanent Children. She’s all in love with him, and yeah, I really like this guy, but I’m not at love yet, and what if this doesn’t work out after all?? What if I mess it up? What if I mess it up AND Leyanna hates me for it?
