How did you spend your birthday in 2017? Aaron Judge celebrated his 25th birthday at Boston’s Fenway Park, on April 26.

To get the party started, in the second inning he connected on a fastball from reigning Cy Young Award winner Rick Porcello and went the opposite way over the short right field wall for his seventh homer of the season. Hitting a two-run homer in his first at-bat ever at storied Fenway Park showed he harbored no signs of fear for the Green Monster, and he dominated on both sides of the ball.

In the third inning, with a man on second base, Xander Bogaerts hit a flyball that drifted toward the seats along the right field foul line. Judge, who has excellent speed for such a big man, ran a long way to chase it. He extended his glove arm to make the catch before barreling over the wall and plunging headfirst into the stands. Judge is so rock solid that when he ran into the Fenway wall, manager Joe Girardi said he was concerned for the wall.

The fearless catch while outstretched before tumbling into the crowd was reminiscent of a famous Derek Jeter grab against the Red Sox at Yankee Stadium, in 2004.
