THE SCENT OF COFFEE filled the kitchen as Danika came out of the bathroom dressed in a robe. Logan gave her a smile from the counter then turned back to his cup. âHow long have you been up?â
She checked the clock. âNot long.â
A small tug of lust nipped at her. She wanted nothing more than to pull him back to the bedroom and go another good round with him. But that wasnât an option. She had work to get done. After that, she could play. Yes. Play after work, that was how it had always been for her.
âWhatâs the plan?â he asked.
âI figured weâd head out soon. We should be getting back to Ashleyâs.â
Sheâd wanted some time to stay at home and do a card reading but that would have to wait. Maybe Iâll bring them with me. I could find a few private minutes in the day.
She went to the bedroom and started getting dressed. Logan followed her into the room, handing her a cup of coffee. She took a sip before pulling her pants on.
âYouâre gorgeous,â Logan blurted out. I mean... I already knew that but...â
âThanks, I think.â
âYeah, it didnât quite come out as romantic as I wanted it to.â
âYou tried; I canât complain about that.â She smiled. âAre you ready to go?â She pulled a soft black tank top on.
âI can be as soon as I finish my coffee, and can I use your shower real quick?â
âOf course. Clean towels are in the cabinet under the sink.â He gave her a quick kiss and left the room. She grabbed a small purse and headed for her dresser. She slid the bottom drawer open and surveyed the contents.
She snatched up the box of condoms and her small bottle of lube. Danika sifted through her corsets and pulled out a green silk and a black lace simple-yet-sexy nightie, the blue slip with padding where it needed to be and... Do I really need the handcuffs? No. That might not be his kinda thing. Her vibrator would make too much noise so that was out of the question. She chewed her lip. She didnât know how he felt about anal toys and it was probably too soon to ask. The bondage tape might not be a good idea either, and her favorite dildo might be offensive. She grabbed the black ultra-mini skirt and a sparkly bra. She wanted to be prepared for anything. And with all this crap, she was damn well going to be.
She closed the drawer, zipped the purse up, and quickly went for her away bag in the kitchen. She buried the smaller bag into some of the clothes, making sure it wasnât showing. Not that anyone but she would know what was actually in the bag without looking.
The shower turned off and sixty seconds later, Logan came out of the bathroom, his hair damp and his pants on. A couple beads of water ran down his perfectly toned chest. Knowing what was in her bag, seeing his arms flex as he ran his fingers through his hair, she wanted him so bad right now.
