Epilogue

Grant smiled as he held out Casey's jacket for him. "I told you to bring it."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, you were right. Who'd have thunk that you would need a jacket in

Florida in October? Isn't it still supposed to be summer down here or something?" He snatched

the jacket out of Grant's hands and slid into it.

"Okay, October isn't summer anywhere in the United States. And we happen to be on a

pier over the ocean at dawn after a hurricane. Not going to be warm and sunny right now." He

unfolded the flap on his leather jacket and snapped it shut.

"Why did you drag me out here now anyway? It was nice and warm at the motel, and you

were naked in bed with me. I can't see any good reason for this little trip of yours."

Grant chuckled. Yeah, they were warm and naked together. After waking up at four in the

morning to Casey sucking his cock there was nothing else he wanted to do than make love to

him. And he did. Falling back asleep afterward would have been terrific, until he remembered

Casey's comment about only seeing the ocean in the daytime. He couldn't pass on the

opportunity to show his lover the ocean during a sunrise. It was a thing of beauty, just like

Casey.

He spread his arm wide. "Come here."

Casey didn't hesitate to walk into his arms and hug him tight. He turned them so he was

facing the ocean. "Now look." He whispered in Casey's ear before nipping it tenderly.

"I'm comfortable again and you are forcing me to move...again." He whined as he

wiggled in Grant's arms so he too faced the ocean.

"Boy, don't make me get rough with you."

Casey pushed his ass back into Grant and laughed softly. "Oh threaten me, please. Fine,

I've seen the ocean, can we please go back to your bed now?"

Grant lifted up his arm, with Casey's hand firmly attached to it, and glanced at his watch.

"In a few minutes, if you still want to, we can."

Casey let out a long sigh but leaned back against Grant in obvious defeat. They stood

there for a while in comfortable silence. Grant was glad that no one shared the pier with them,

everyone probably sleeping in thanks to the weather from the night before. There was still a light

mist falling, the rain would come back soon enough.

The horizon started to lighten as the sun made its appearance.

"Oh my God. Grant, do you see that?" The awe in Casey's voice caused Grant to smile

silly. "It's beautiful. I've never seen anything like it." He looked over his shoulder at Grant.

"I have." Grant pointedly stared back.

He loved the blush Casey gave him before he turned back to the sunrise, resting his head

against Grant once again. "This week will pass way too quickly, you know?"

"I figured that, yeah."

"And..." Casey's voice trailed off.

"And...I figure we both came to Daytona from the same direction. Maybe, just maybe, we

don't live too far from each other."

"A guy like you would want to see a guy like me again?"

Grant couldn't hide his grin even if he wanted to.
