Chapter Seven
Whisper had taken off her blouse and camisole and was working on the buttons on the side of her skirt. His gaze focused on her breasts as they moved with her actions. When she undid the last button, the skirt fell to the floor and she was naked to her boots.
Holy shit! If heâd known sheâd gone commando, he would have left the party before dinner.
She bent over, picked up the skirt and turned to a hidden closet behind the bed. After opening a panel, she pushed a button and he heard the hum of a motor. She hung the skirt on a hanger and closed the panel.
When she turned around his breath caught. She was so much woman. Full breasts were held above a four-pack stomach, wide hips and shapely thighs that cradled a neat bush of black pubic hair. He remembered how soft it felt against his hand.
She sat on the bed and tugged off her boots as if he werenât even in the room. Heâd never been with a woman who was so comfortable in her own skin. It was incredibly attractive.
She stood. âArenât you getting undressed?â She looked at him expectantly.
Heâd never had a woman ask him that. âYes.â
He dropped his hat on a side table and hung his sport jacket on a wall hook that was empty. He started to unbutton his shirt, keeping an eye on her.
She reached up and pulled hair pins from her head until her long hair flowed down her back.
Trace stilled. Just when he thought she couldnât be more beautiful, more fascinating, more alive, she moved to another level.
She massaged her head then fluffed out the silky mass. âNow I remember why I donât put my hair up. Itâs too heavy.â
He swallowed. How the hell was he supposed to take it slow when she looked good enough to eat?
âDo you need help?â Her question caught him off guard, but as she walked toward him, it registered.
âI think I do.â
He watched her as she focused on the rest of his shirt buttons. Wasnât he supposed to undress her?
She tugged his shirt out from his jeans and finished her task. Then she put her hands under the shirt and pulled it down his arms, her breasts pressing against his bare chest as she worked it all the way to his wrists where the cuffs were still buttoned.
He took a deep breath, loving the feel of her hardening nipples. âYou need to unbutton the sleeves.â
She didnât say anything, just moved to do what was needed to get his shirt off. Once his wrists were free, she stepped around him and hung it on the hook.
She came back and went for the zipper on his jeans. He caught her hands. âWhoa, wait. I need to take off my boots.â
She looked down. âOh, yeah. Sit.â
He did as she commanded, curious as to how she would help when there wasnât much space between the end of the bed and the television wall. It was a nice, big bed.
