CHAPTER THREE

It felt surreal to have such a handsome man all over her. Karen's fingers threaded through Carter's hair as he pulled her blouse open, exposing her curvaceous torso. Usually, she'd be self-conscious. Most of the time, she wanted to have sex with the lights off. There was something about the regional Alpha though. She knew that his wolf was in control. And she knew that the wolf didn't discriminate.

Every time he kissed her, she could feel his need for her pooling inside of him, forcing the wolf closer to the surface. It was frightening and thrilling at the same time. She'd never been with a lycan this powerful, this carnal. For all that she knew, he could devour her completely.

And she didn't care. As strange as it now seemed to her, it felt like everything in Karen's life had led up to this moment. This precious moment when her and Carter were together. It was a stupid thing to think though. She would just be another lay to him. That's how this worked. She refused to be so naive as to believe it was anything more. Still, there was something about all of this that was so off-kilter to her, and not in a bad way.

He grabbed her bra with both hands and forced the cups down, allowing her hefty breasts to pop free of their constraints. Karen closed her eyes and tilted her head back when she felt his fingertip slide across the seam of her sex. Almost instinctively, she parted her thighs, giving him easier access.
