FIFTEEN

TYLER

They’d talked about all sorts of nonsense on the drive home. The sexual tension hadn’t gone anywhere. Tyler had cursed himself repeatedly that he’d chosen somewhere so far away.

He parked up outside the flat.

“Thank you for driving,” Danny said.

Tyler leant across and kissed him fiercely. He’d lasted an hour without those lips. After the conversation that morning Tyler wanted to seal the deal with his body.

“Let’s go,” he said.

“Are you leaving your pride and joy on the street?”

Tyler frowned. “I’m not schlepping over town and back. I have far better things to do.”

“I’m honoured.”

“Move.”

Danny leapt out then opened the backdoor.

“What are you doing?” Tyler asked.

“Getting the food and my bag,” Danny replied.

He wrestled his rucksack onto his back and rummaged for the bags. Tyler dashed around.

“Here, give me something.”

Danny handed him the blanket and a bag.

“Honestly,” Danny said. “If I’d known I affected you this much, I’d have driven home.”

Tyler kissed him. “You might be about to get my body and soul but you’ll never take my car.”

They ran up the stairs. Tyler was breathless by the top. He wasn’t sure if it was due to his appalling fitness levels or the anticipation of making love with Danny as a bona fide couple.

The flat was quiet. That didn’t mean that Scott wasn’t lurking somewhere, ready to embarrass them.

“Do you want a drink?” Tyler asked.

Danny pulled him close. “There’s only one thing I want.”

“Go on into my room,” Tyler replied.

Tyler dashed into the kitchen and grabbed some bottles of water from the fridge. He had every intention of working up a sweat. No matter what Danny said.

When he came out, Scott and Eddie were in the hallway.

“Fucking hell. You scared me,” Tyler said. “Are you trying to be the bloody twins from The Shining?”

“Back soon,” Eddie replied. “Interesting.”

“I wonder what the urgency is,” Scott added. “Danny with you?”

Tyler went to his door. “He is and we’re an item,” he whispered.

Scott clapped his hands together. “Hurray.”

“One second,” Eddie said, disappearing into the lounge.

Tyler stared at Scott. “What is he doing? I’ve got other priorities right now.”

Scott held his hands up. “Don’t ask me. I simply wanted to find out how things went.”

Eddie reappeared with a handful of condoms. He shoved them into Tyler’s shorts’ pockets.

“What the hell is that on your arse?” Scott asked.

“Taramasalata. Don’t even ask. Thanks, Eddie. Don’t wait up, folks.”

Before they could delay him any further, Tyler almost fell into his bedroom. As soon as he got through the door, he stopped in his tracks.

Danny was lying on the airbed, totally naked.

“Fuck,” Tyler said. “That’s quite the sight.”

Already hard, Danny stroked his own cock.

“Come and get involved if you like.”

Tyler didn’t need asking twice. He gratefully shed his ruined shorts, stepping out of them. Danny was watching him as he threw his T-shirt into the laundry basket, closely followed by his socks.

Last were his boxers. He couldn’t find the will power to tease Danny. Tyler wanted that skin contact too much.

Naked except for his glasses, he crawled onto the airbed.
