Axel stood there, not saying anything, more still than she’d ever seen him.

Hmm, maybe she should have thought this through.

His deep voice sent shivers through her. “I do.” She turned over to reach into her nightstand and had just grabbed a box when the bed dipped and he pressed himself, naked, against the back of her.

He groaned and slid his hand down her belly, kissing her shoulder, the side of her neck, nuzzling through her hair. That talented hand moved down, over her belly and threading through the trim thatch of hair guarding her sex.

He slid a finger through her wet folds into her, and she whispered his name, lost.
