Horace felt like a vampire king. For the first time in his life, he felt powerful and important. He sat in a nice, comfortable chair in one of the passenger cabins. He had an old, frail man, seventy-seven year old Maxwell, pinned across his lap. Maxwell was unconscious, but still alive. He had let his bladder go when Horace appeared out of nowhere, but the old man had just recently changed his adult diaper before he was attacked, so the piss was well contained.
It wasnât the strong grip of Horace, or the snarling and baring of his teeth that caused the old man to pass out. It was when Horace pulled the old man across his lap and he saw the three women half covered in blood. They had sharp teeth and were anxious to sink them into him. It was all too much for Maxwell. His world faded to black.
The three ladies all crowded around Horaceâs feet, waiting for him to rip open the old geezer in his lap. To him, they felt like his disciples, worshiping at his feet, waiting with bated breath for him to drain Maxwell into them.
âMy lovelies,â he said. âMy beautiful brides. I have created you three to stay with me forever. We are forever bonded with my blood that now flows through your veins.â
âYes, my master,â Rachelle said. Estelle and Delilah murmured their agreement. They writhed at his feet, hungry with anticipation.
âMy brother had three brides at one time,â Horace said. âJust like with everything else, he used them to taunt me and pick on me. Dracula, he was such a dick. Everybody thinks he was so special, while I was just a nobody.â
Horace put his hand on the back of Maxwellâs neck. The three vampire women at his feet became excited, they could barely contain themselves. Their eyes grew wide, expecting him to slice through the pink flesh and allow them to feed, but he did no such thing.
âThe four of us will show them, though. This boat will be just the beginning. I want to bring fear to the humans. I want them to treat me as their king.â Horace moved his hand away from the old manâs neck. The three women watched the hand move away in disappointment. âNo more will I be living in the shadow of my brother. I will make my own place in this world. Legends will be written about me, Horace Dracul, and everyone will forget all about Vlad. My father, may he rot in Hell, will see what his second son is capable of. The son he called stupid and weak, frail like a woman.â
Estelle, Rachelle, and Delilah all looked at each other. They shrugged in confusion. They didnât want to interrupt their master, but he had really gone off subject.
âThey mocked my manhood. They took any woman from me that I showed the smallest amount of interest in. My father forced me to sleep out with the dogs, and they treated me better than my own family did!â Horace grew angrier as he recounted childhood memories.
