Chapter Six

“That was great, Terry.” The director of the cable series he’d been hired to photograph patted him on the back. “We’re taking a quick break then we’re going to do a full cast shoot. Back in fifteen?”

“Sure. See you then.”

Terry settled on one of several folding canvas chairs scattered about as he went through his sound card marking ritual. He hadn’t checked to see if it was the designated photographer one, but since everyone had wandered off to take a smoke or coffee break, he wasn’t too concerned.

The large open space was a nice change from working in the confines of his small home studio. The set they were using was perhaps half the size of an airplane hangar, but with a similar look and feel. Overhead metal scaffolding could be erected for attaching and positioning lights and cameras when filming, but the space worked equally as well for still photography.

He was excited to begin working on the shots when he got back to his studio. Once he had several to send over to the design team, they’d take over and create the graphics for the promo ads. So far, he’d only shot the five principals in their human forms for the horror-themed show that incorporated fallen angels and demons. He wasn’t sure what the whole storyline was, but it seemed interesting. Once he’d done the cast shoot, he’d be done for the day. The demon and angel shots would be taken later in the week.

While he waited, Terry decided to check his equipment, make sure the lenses were spotlessly clean, batteries were fresh and so on. It’d been a few days since going to the BDSM gathering with Phil, but he couldn’t stop thinking about it every time his complete attention wasn’t required elsewhere.

He’d enjoyed it. As in, crazy stupid enjoyed it. He let out a chuckle, shaking his head as he carefully wiped his wide angle lens. Phil hadn’t followed through on any of his threats, but he’d kept randomly making them if Terry even so much as twitched funny. It’d kept him in a high state of arousal all night. After speaking with the DM and discovering that the basement had both a peephole and buzzer, then inspecting the space, Phil had declared it suitable for the scene and had scheduled it for the following week. He was almost instantly hard at the thought.

Terry swiped at his forehead. Focus. At work, remember?

But his mind wouldn’t stop drifting. He and Phil had stayed for the knife and blood play and he hadn’t been weirded out by it the way he’d thought he would be. They’d ended their personal scene on the way home in the car so that they could discuss the whole evening. He still wasn’t sure how they’d handle such conversations in the future if they ended up being in a full time D/s relationship, but he was sure Phil would help him to clarify things as they went along. He was more confident in letting things happen in a gradual manner than he’d been in the beginning.
