TJ hadn’t slept well. All she could think about was that damn kiss. How could it have affected her so much? The man could kiss if nothing else. But he pissed her off at every turn. The fact remained though. Her whole body had reacted to that kiss.

She had dated a few times and the men never tried anything much. Her personal life had been a sparse wasteland. As she had told the girls, her family intimidated any possible men who were even remotely interested in her.

But not this Pepper, apparently, as he’d been told directly by Riley to not even look at her. Well, the man had done more than look, hadn’t he? That kiss was explosive and more passion was in it than she had ever felt in her life.

So sleep didn’t come, except as a wet dream in the middle of the night. Shocked to her core by the dream, she couldn’t fall back to sleep.

Pepper had been kissing her as he’d whispered, ‘sweet baby’ into her ear then his hands had roamed all over her body and she was moaning in her sleep, waking to wet panties. Never in her life had this occurred before.

Now, she headed toward the kitchen. Yes, it was dawn and 2 hours earlier than her usual appearance, but she refused to stay in her room and think about that blasted biker any longer.

She started the huge coffee makers. Then got all the staples out to start a very large breakfast.

An hour later, as she was mixing a huge batch of pancake batter, she felt it.

His presence.

She even knew he was behind her. What the fuck?

“Smells wonderful in here,” he spoke softly.

She took a deep breath, let it out, and then turned.

His eyes were on her. In fact, they roamed from her face down to her breasts, then her legs. Once that journey had been made, he did his looking in reverse and slowly drew his gaze upwards.

Her nipples hardened and she got tingles along her skin. She swallowed heavily and forced her head to turn back to her task. “It’s just coffee.”

He moved around behind her for a minute or two. Then spoke, “Well, the coffee tastes good,” his deep voice almost purred the entire sentence.

TJ could not suppress the shiver from his voice. Her mind flashed to his hot mouth on hers and the way her mind had went blank. The way she felt and couldn’t think at all.

Damn, this man was dangerous to her and it had nothing to do with him being a biker or having known her brother...No, it had to do with the man himself.

She was whipping the pancake batter for all it was worth when his hot breath wisped along her neck.

“I’m not surprised you can cook. In fact, a woman like you could probably do a lot of things...”

Her body trembled. She couldn’t even stop it from shuddering. “I...” Nothing else came out of her mouth. Since when did she get shy? Or tongue tied.
