Chapter Eleven

WHEN I REACH THE ROOM, the door is ajar. I push it with my foot and kick it closed behind me. I’m stunned to see how well Nicki listened. She is butt naked, spread out on the bed, waiting. Lying beside her is the bathrobe belt, “and what is this?” I place the tray down and approach.
