Chapter Eleven

Cutler

Cutler ducked around to the basement steps, keeping one hand on the wall so he didn’t fall. Keady lingered on his lips and in his nose, everything pinpointing to the man he longed for. His cock was rock hard, making it awkward as hell to rush down the steps as fast as he dared.

As he reached the landing, he brought his phone out of his pocket, clicking the button to light up the screen. At the same time, he opened the electrical panel tucked in the wall at the base of the stairs. Using the light from his phone, he found the main breaker and flipped the switch back on.

Upstairs, everything was probably beeping back to life, his microwave and bedside clock included. There were probably more than a dozen digital clocks that he would have to reset in the house, but every single one of them would be worth it. So had nearly falling up the stairs in the darkness as he’d rushed to capture Keady as soon as he’d flipped the breaker off. The camera app on his phone had seen to the rest.

He’d gone back and forth with himself as he decided what their scene should look like, sucking down a dozen energy drinks as he’d tossed out plan after plan.

Restrain Keady in the basement and flog him? They’d basically already done that. Going primal and stalking him in the house? Close, but not perfect. He knew what he wanted, but…

He’d bitten his lip as he’d finally hardened his resolve. Keady hadn’t been the only one holding back, and it was time for one of them to be honest. And if he waited on Keady to be the honest one, he would be waiting an eternity.

But Cutler wasn’t going to let things get out of hand. Just because Keady was his prisoner didn’t mean he couldn’t earn certain privileges.

That was, if he decided to stay.

Cutler pulled up the cameras on his phone again, his heart dropping as he watched an image of Keady as he strolled toward the front door. His heart picked up when Keady pulled off his last layer of clothing, tossing his boxers with the rest.

This is going to be good.

Cutler headed to the room in the basement that he’d converted into an impromptu dungeon for the weekend. What had been an eternally unused guestroom had been easy enough to change into something so much better. He didn’t have a lot of tools, because he rarely brought a sub home with him, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t creative.

He’d left the mattress but had taken the bed frame down and had shoved the box spring into another room. A trip to Walmart had supplied him with a metal dog crate that was large enough that Keady would be able to lay down in it but not stretch out all the way. Without the brand name stickers and dog, it looked more like a tiny version of the prison Cutler so desperately wanted to emulate.
