A trained and versatile actor, Ben excels in every role and was brilliant as the Mahatma in the film. The proudest moment for Om was when that single scene he had done with Ben was shown at the Oscars.

Hera Pheri

Hera Pheri is one of the most successful comic flicks made in recent times by Priyadarshan. It is a situational comedy like most of his recent films. Hera Pheri was a pioneer in this genre and Priyan created his loyal team with Paresh Rawal, who is brilliant, and Akshay Kumar, who is a star today.

Priyadarshan started out with serious films like Kala Pani, Virasat and such others but since the past few years, Om rags him that he has opened up a ‘comedy shop’. He is a prolific filmmaker, averaging a minimum of four films a year. He is well-versed in his craft and perhaps the only filmmaker who does not take lengthy shots. He lets his cameraman do the general lighting and then he shoots fast. Om loves working with him as he does not believe in night shoots. For him, a day can stretch maximum up to 9.30 p.m.
