Making new friends had always been hard, but Tate knew the best people. Derek was so nice and didn’t think I was weird.

He hadn’t even told me to stop smiling at him or to stop staring at him.

Some people were just impossible to make happy, but Derek didn’t mind talking about sex stuff and I didn’t have to figure out how to date him.
