As I opened the charm, my eyes lit up at the sight of the treasured photo inside. Rebecca, stunning in her cheerleading uniform, planting a sweet kiss on my cheek. At that time, I was the head journalist for our school newspaper and had asked her for a picture with the less-than-kind girls she associated with. But Rebecca, ever so lovely, chose to surprise me with a playful kiss instead.

The photograph was inappropriate for the school paper and should have been discarded. Yet, I couldn't bear to part with it since the memory of her lips touching my skin meant the world to me. Smiling at the recollection, I remember how for days I refused to wash my face, wanting to preserve the remnants of her touch as long as possible.
