Morning July 17 to Evening July 18, 2267 & ED Year 4 Days 2-7.

Only a few things of note occurred Wednesday, and Thursday was the departure of Kate’s father as he supposedly prepared to disinherit her, and the twins’ grandmother on the night of the 18th. Mrs. Bell also went into labor during Xeal’s first login of the 17th, adding to the atmosphere of a house full of babies where that was all any could talk about. When everyone had logged off in the morning of the 18th, she was already home with a new baby boy. Alex and Anna’s little brother had been given the name Andy and was already working out his lungs as the same two nurses who had acted as in-home care for Moyra and Ahsa had returned to care for him. Alex could also tell that bringing him into the world had taken a lot out of his mom as she didn’t even have fun with the fact that she had managed to keep the gender a secret the whole time. This had also been part of what prompted the slightly early departures of Jasper and Nana Quinn, as both felt that the house was already too crowded. Though Nana Quinn promised to return in the next few weeks, as it was clear that Ava and Mia were controlling at least a half hour of Alex’s life every logout as they worked to ensure that they were pregnant.

Day 2 of the fourth year in ED saw Xeal and his party back to work in the Vault of Ucnuc as Amet, Clara, Nanami and Ignis all rejoined them after reaching tier-6 and taking care of their combat companions. Xeal had to laugh as Ignis and Nanami both ended up with salamanders and like Gale, Clara had a boar while Amet had a tortoise. Finally, the full party was together again for the first time since they were all tier-5 and they were able to work on getting back into the flow of working as a group as they faced foes that were ten levels above them. This was being made all the harder due to Amet and Ignis both not having a mark that boosted their stats, putting them in the same situation as Rina, Luna, Selene, Eira, Bula, Daisy, Violet and Alea as those who needed to tread carefully. They had been at it for a few hours when what Xeal had been worried about finally happened, as 50 vampires and at least a few hundred ghouls arrived in a pincer maneuver that blocked any way to retreat.

Xeal frowned as his party reformed quickly as they managed to reach a corner that would allow them to avoid being encircled, but Xeal knew that they were in trouble.
