HISTORY

The Scandinavian blue dragon has not posed much of a threat to humans despite living in close proximity for centuries. The dragon has been regarded by Scandinavian cultures as a creature of great magic and power and was particularly revered by early Nordic and Viking cultures. We visited the very impressive Hall of Dragons, a collection of dragon artifacts at the Bergen Academy of Natural Sciences. The Scandinavian people have revered and studied the dragon for centuries.
