âMay stared out the passenger window. The time she spent at the Ranch was over, but it didn't mean their relationship had to do the same. They'd visit Crimson Rose each time one of them wanted to have a scene while there, visit those who they befriended, and relax in the main area while Andrew served drinks and gossiped with them.
âCatherine's voice softened as she drove. âMay-Flower, are you okay?â
ââYes. I'll miss being at the Ranch.â May laughed as she looked at the woman next to her. âI don't know if I'd admit this when you asked me to join you. Now? I spent a week with you, and we explored our interests. I've learned I don't mind being your pony.â May's smile spread the longer she thought about what they did and how it filled her imagination. âThe event where our doms and dommes challenged us to race each other was exciting.â
ââIt was. I need to speak with Mistress Briana about having more events. Us dominants have neglected our submissives by not hosting them. The masquerade one we had weeks ago was the last.â Catherine glanced at May, giving her a wide grin. âI convinced you to dance with me, although you weren't interested in doing so. I don't believe I'd have to struggle as hard to do it any longer.â
ââMistress.â May's laughter filled the interior. âYou know what? You're right. I've changed, and it's because of being with you.â She reached over, running her hand along Catherine's thigh. âThank you for helping me explore my interest in being your submissive.â
ââYou're welcome, May-Flower.â
âFeeling better about leaving, May returned to watching the scenery until they reached their small town and parked in May's driveway once they arrived at her home. âDo you want to come in? I'll miss sleeping next to you since it's all we've done for a week.â May paused, looking at Catherine with an eager expression. âI have something I want to discuss, but it can wait until we're rested.â
ââYou know the answer about if I want to stay.â
âMay nodded. âAll right. Let's get our luggage from the car and we'll order something since I cleaned out the kitchen before we left. I need to get groceries, but it'll wait until tomorrow.â
âNeither said anything further, but their silence was filled with touching as they worked on getting everything unpacked. May stored what didn't need cleaned while sorting the rest for when she washed them. Once they finished, she sprawled the length of her bed and folded her hands behind her head after removing her clothing. She was home, but the agreement she had with Catherine didn't change, which meant May remained naked while indoors.
âCatherine joined her, pressing herself against May's side while playing with strands of May's golden hair. Having asked May to grow it, the length touched her shoulders or brushed beyond it. âWhat's on your mind, May-Flower?â
ââWe've known each other for eight weeks. I know it's a brief time, but I don't believe our relationship will change to one where we argue with each other.
