Get a large bowl and inside place the cream alongside the butter then beat the mix under electric mixer until it becomes smooth and creamy. Beat ½ of a cup of confectioners’ sugar into the butter mix, then beat in the flour slowly and mix perfectly. Cover the bowl before refrigerating for 3 hours.

Pre-heat the oven to 190 degrees C, then get a floured board, then roll out the refrigerated dough on the board, before using the pizza wheel to cut it into 2 ½ inches squares. Spoon 2 teaspoons of your filling unto the center of each of the squares (make sure you don’t over-fill). Fold the opposite corners of each of the square unto the middle, in order to encase your dough and then pinch the dough together in the center (make sure the filling peek a little out of the ends of the dough). Transfer the cookies unto ungreased baking sheet.

Bake your Kolacky inside the oven until the colour turns brown – this should take less than 15 minutes. Place the cookies on racks to cool down. Dust the cookies with the remaining powdered sugar.
