Classic Chicken
Wings
From meat-and-potatoes lovers to refined foodies, chicken wings are the appetizer go-to loved by all. This classic marinade is as easy to make as it is delicious. Whether you’re preparing for a tailgate party or just have a craving for some good old-fashioned wings, this simple recipe will have everyone in your crowd raving.
Yield: 6–8 servings
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
2 pounds chicken wingettes and drumettes
2 ½ tablespoons hot sauce
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Preheat the oven to 500°F. In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Old Bay seasoning. Coat the chicken evenly. Arrange the chicken on a parchment or foil-lined baking sheet without overlapping. Cook for 45 minutes or until crispy, turning the chicken midway through with tongs. While the chicken cooks, whisk the hot sauce, butter, and Worcestershire sauce together. Remove the chicken from the oven and use tongs to dunk the pieces in the sauce, coating evenly.
