Chapter 14

The girl in the chain lay bleeding on the floor. The wound inside her not healing. This was it. After all this time and all this … surviving … she was going out after he fucked her. Again.

She closed her eyes. Weak. Surviving was hardly the word. Chained in a cave for God could only know how long. Long enough to become impregnated, and bare child. She opened one eye and looked across the cave floor to the viscera and gore on the floor. All that was left of the bastard child-thing that she had birthed. She had never held it. Only seen it from a distance. The actually birth had been hard, and she knew then that there was some physical deformity in the child. But she had never been sure. Not seeing it in the light. Up close.

But it was partly that thing, wasn’t it? This creature that dwelled in the darkness. Raping and killing.

Her eye closed again, this time of its own accord. She was tired. The sound of her own heart beat seemed louder than normal. Maybe that was the blood loss? Maybe …. The sound of the creature approaching snapped her from a slumber she was so eagerly falling into. Jumped like a dream of falling.

It came to the light. Another, it muttered through sticky and bloody wet teeth. It came to her as she lay there, watching from the floor. Unmoved by its approach. By its apparent anger and desperation. She understood that it needed another child. One it certainly wasn’t getting from her.

It reached down and took hold of her by the shoulders, picking her naked from the floor like she was nothing more than a ragdoll. Pushing her against the wall.

She didn’t cry out. Too weak. The blood streamed worse down her legs, drooling from her quicker than it could replace itself inside her body. Her head slumped forward without the strength to hold it up. The creature was engorged again, aware of her unseeded body. It clearly thought she just needed it … again.

It held her there, sticking itself inside her wet and pungent gash, wrecked from birth and then from its vile attempt to impregnate her again. Her own blood, mixed with the semen it produced before, lubing its pathetic attempt to seed her again.

The pain of its stake inside her, tearing her apart further … she could feel it burst through into her guts. Like so many men before had promised … this thing actually did it. Deep enough to kill her, she was sure, as the pain drew to numbness and then just a serenity as sleep became nothing more than the only option.

She felt a warm embrace as so much of her blood slipped down the insides of her legs. Its. The blood spattering on the chalk below, where she had slept so many times.

The creature shook her trying to wake her. Angry it stopped thrusting inside her. Shaking her again, like a baby, her head rocking violently back and forth.
