The sounds of wind surfers woke the naked couple. The sun was already up, its warmth announcing a new day. They found their robes and slippers and scrambled toward the house, hoping no one else was awake. Danny was in the kitchen having his morning Joe and reading the Aruba Daily.

He looked up for a second. “Good morning.”

His mom and Adam pulled their robes tighter to hide their new bodies. Danny’s coffee cup shattered on the floor as he sprayed coffee in the direction of these strangers.

“What happened to you two? Mom, is that you?”

“It’s just us,” Eve said, as she stooped to clean up the pieces.

“You better sit down,” Adam suggested. “We have a lot to tell you.”

They went through the whole experience with Danny. His mouth hung open as they retold the R rated version of the story.

The commotion awakened sleeping beauty. Zoe came into the living room in her T shirt rubbing her eyes, “You guys woke me up! Can’t you all be a little more considerate of others? I was trying to sleep.”

She had just finished her sentence when the sleep in her eyes cleared enough to see that her Mom and Adam looked more like two of her friends than her old parents. Her questions sounded familiar, “Mom, is that you? What happened to you?”

Eve started over and went through the entire scenario again. Danny and Zoe were not naïve and they had heard and read about the healings and the old people becoming young. They had also seen reports from the CDC which were explicit. They knew their parents had been with The One in a very intimate way.

“Gross! You both are disgusting!” she blurted out. “How could you do that?”

It was apparent that Danny shared her displeasure. Adam really didn’t know what to say. They were young, healthy, and strong and they had each other to share all those lost years with. They were happy. They explained this to the kids.

Zoe made it clear that thinking of old people, like them having sex was, well, disgusting.

A whole Adam and his young wife excused themselves from the kid’s tribunal and in their master bathroom finally got to survey their new bodies for the first time. They admired themselves in the big mirrors over the twin sinks. Adam had a full head of brown hair. Something he hadn’t seen in 20 years. The thick hair on his chest and back had been reduced to a fine blonde down, he sported 30 years ago.

He was taller by four inches and heavier. He stepped up on the scales. The number read 210 pounds. The scales were accurate. Before last night he was 5'10” and 185 pounds. Now he stood at least 6'2” with a muscular toned body that he surely had not worked for. Adam liked to swim every day in the ocean, it was the only exercise he could tolerate, but this was much more than a swim would produce. Most of all his pain was gone, he was a man again.
