WILL KEPT his word. He didn’t push Amanda; he didn’t even try to kiss her again, that night. But over dinner, when he was talking about work and gardens, she could see in his eyes that he was thinking about kissing her, and remembering the heat that had flared between them that afternoon. The thought made her whole body tingle with anticipation.
