Somewhere in East London, England

Ronnie Larkhall didn’t have to worry about anybody remembering his name. As one of London’s most notorious gangsters, he was already assured of being somebody who wouldn’t easily be forgotten, in life and in death. But he wasn’t planning on going anywhere yet. He had a huge business empire to run, and nobody could run it like he could. That was perhaps why he had been called to this meeting today. It was a meeting that he would never normally have attended because he paid other people to take care of things like this for him, but his presence had been requested today, and it was just another example of how much the people within his organisation needed him.

Today’s meeting was supposed to be just like all the other meetings that went down on the 15th of the month in various warehouses around London, just like the one Ronnie was in now. Ronnie was annoyed, both about the fact that one of his employees could be stealing from him, but also at the fact that his nephew was so useless when it came to getting to the bottom of it himself. Nevertheless, he had agreed to be here today to sort this mess out, and with the mood he was in now, somebody was going to pay for their sins. It just remained to be seen who.

Turbo?

Damian?

Or both?

Having entered this warehouse that was located in a mostly derelict part of East London, Ronnie was now on the fifth floor of the empty building, looking out over this grotty part of the English capital and thinking about how it was places like this that made so many men rich in the wealthier parts of the city. There were bars and clubs being opened in West London, sports cars speeding around South London, and new mansions being built in North London, but so many of those things were being paid for by illegal activity that was taking place in the East. Ronnie himself was no stranger to this part of the city that had seemingly been
