There is no behavioral or mental health problem that affects more individuals than the group of conditions classified as anxiety disorders. The incidence rate in American and European cultures is estimated at having a lifetime prevalence of greater than 25%. Our practice with 19-channel Z -scored EEG biofeedback has demonstrated that anxiety disorders are readily and effectively treated using this modality. We consider anxiety disorders among the most readily treatable of behavioral health issues. The data presented in this chapter are intended to support this assertion.
