HINT: It is most commonly eaten during the saint Nicolas day on 6th of December.You can add some other vegetables to the stuffing like tomatoes, carrots, celery and mushrooms.

Deserts

Baked Apples / Печени ябълки

Ingredients:

Apples (large) – 4

Butter – 3 oz. (100g)

Nuts (chopped) – 1 oz.(50g)

Brown sugar – 4 oz.(150)

Cinnamon – 1 tbsp.

Honey - 4 tbsp.

Water – 8 oz.(250ml)

The best way to cook it

Remove the core of the apples until they become hollow tubes. Place the apples in a pan.

Heat the butter and add to it nuts, sugar, cinnamon and mix very well. Add the honey and let it cool then fill the apples with the mixture.

Preheat the oven and place the apples inside, but first fill the bottom of the pan so it wont burn the apples. Cook between 20 and 40 minutes until the apples are tender
