You may recall from Chapter 1 that there are seven passes (phases) of Windows Setup, which are: windowsPE

These passes control the processing of the Windows Setup process, and there are defined tasks that occur at these different stages. That said, some tasks can be performed in more than one pass.

Once a component has been added to the relevant pass of Setup, you can start to customize the data using the middle and right-hand panes in the tool. For example, in Figure 4-4, Windows Mail has been configured to be hidden.
