So there is no way to disconnect Vikings from their violent heritage, and it would not be right to do so. But this truth about Viking life is only part of the larger truth. Most Vikings were not warriors or raiders. No, what were they then?

They were farmers. Most of the people in the world at his time were farmers or they were fisherman or food gatherers or in some way connected with getting food.

But as far as I know there has been no TV or films about Viking Farming. Probably hard to make it exciting.
