Faith's sudden movement awakens me as she shifts her position to face me while still sleeping. I squint my eyes as the light faintly peaks through the small gap of the curtains.

I look down at Faith and can't help but smile at the mere sight of her. Her bare face is slightly covered by a few strands of hair. It's so raw, yet so beautiful.

I move the strands of hair away from her face, to get a better look at her. How could someone who's been sleeping for over six hours still look this attractive?

I wonder how it will feel to always have mornings like this? My heart suddenly races at the thought, and a feeling of certainty comes over me. I'd give anything to wake up like this for the rest of my life.

"You know it's not polite to stare at a sleeping person," Faith drags me out of my thoughts as soon as I hear her raspy voice while she looks at me. Her eyes are still puffy from sleeping, but she still looks pretty.

"Well, you didn't really give me much choice now, did you?" I look over to my shoulder as her head is still resting very much comfortably on it.

"Oh, sorry," she immediately sits up, which causes me to chuckle a bit. "But still, you were staring."

"Plus, I was just trying to see how long it would take until your drool lands on my arm," I joke.

"What? I wasn't drooling," Faith looks away as she subtly tries to check if there's really any saliva on both sides of her mouth. I laugh while she looks back at me and slaps my thigh for joking.

"Be careful now, you know what happens when you touch me like that," I smirk at her naughtily as I refer to the fantastic sex that we had last night.

"Uh, I have to go check up on Ayana before I get ready for work," Faith jumps out of bed and rushes to Ayana's room.

I let out a chuckle at seeing how tense she is as I sit up while watching her disappear from my sight. I smile as the thought of waking up next to her, re-enters my mind.

Just like that, I decide that today is the day that I'm going to propose to her. I don't care if we have a big wedding or marry through one of those drive-in chapels in Las Vegas. I just want her to be with me.

I get up and start gathering my clothes that's been thrown on the floor. I head downstairs as soon as I finish dressing up. I walk over to the kitchen and see that Faith is preparing breakfast while Ayana sits in front of the dining table.

"Uncle William!" Ayana shouts as she quickly jumps out of the chair, running towards me.

"I knew it. You were here since last night, weren't you? I heard you and mommy all the way from my room last night when you were praying. I wanted to go pee, but I didn't want to bother you," Ayana said seriously.
