Mr. Lightcap’s stone mill is one of the most extensive establishments of its kind in Grant County. It was started in 1847 and took a year to build.

Light Foot Hollow

Crawford County

Running from Mt. Zion to the county line, it was named after the Light Foot family.

Lighthouse Harbor

Fond du Lac County

Originally called the “Big Hole,” as a harbor it was unsatisfactory. It was dredged to a uniform depth of twelve feet in 1935. The name Lighthouse Harbor was officially adopted in 1935 because there is a lighthouse located here.
