Best methods of delivery for CBD and sleep:
Tincture under the tongue, 15 minutes before bedtime
Capsule, swallowed, 30 minutes before bedtime
Edible, eaten or in a drink, 60 minutes before bedtime
Topical, applied to the body, to reduce pain that could be causing sleeplessness, immediately before bedtime
Inhalation, immediately before bedtime
Because tinctures work more quickly than capsules or edibles do, a tincture can be better at helping you fall asleep, while a capsule or edible could be better for keeping you asleep longer. If you really want to double down, you could take a tincture and a capsule or edible before bed—that way, you take care of the falling asleep and the staying asleep. Be mindful of THC content if you choose to do this, as too much THC may disrupt your sleep (and can inhibit dreaming!).
