Centering is useful for managing any type of stress. As I said, I find it great to use centering to release thoughts that are feeding my fears. Many people center themselves to manage anxiety before a test, or an important speech, maybe an interview, or before working on an important project. Basically, any situation where you need to keep your focus and get yourself out from under your fears, or calm your nerves around a particular thing, centering is an effective everyday option.
