Cover, Copyright, and Other Matters

Every book needs a cover—and the skills required to make great covers are not the same as those required to write great books. If you have friends, family members, or colleagues of a more artistic bent, this may be the time to get them involved.

This chapter deals with ways to create a cover but also with a few other matters you should consider before completing your book, such as whether you need an ISBN, copyright issues, and possibly paying others to handle some steps in micropublishing.
