When Sidney awoke he was standing in precisely the same spot as he was when this tale began, at the door with an envelope in his hand. But this time he was totally relaxed and calm. The document was not a royalty statement, but an affidavit from the Mytho-Litho Printing Company in Blue Tick Hound, Georgia. The affidavit stated that 250,000 copies of Sidney’s book The Bombazine Imperative had been printed. Sidney glanced at the check to make sure it was for the amount he had calculated. It was: $63,000.
