Nachos

Dig in and enjoy these campfire nachos. Top with cheese, lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and a drizzle of taco sauce.

Ingredients:

• 1 pound ground beef

• 1 jalapeño pepper (sliced)

• 1 bunch green onions (thinly sliced, white and light green parts only)

• 1 small-size bag dipping chips

• 2 cups Cheddar cheese (shredded)

• 2 cups iceberg lettuce (shredded)

• 1 tomato (chopped)

• Taco sauce (store-bought, to serve, optional)

Directions:

1. Prepare your campfire for cooking.

2. Over medium heat, in your skillet, cook the beef until no pink remains.

3. Make a hole in the middle of the meat and add the jalapenos along with the green onions. Cook while frequently stirring for 3-4 minutes.

4. Transfer the beef mixture to a mixing bowl.

5. Line the bottom of the hot skillet with the dipping chips.

6. Pour the beef mixture evenly over the dipping chips.

7. Scatter with shredded cheese, lettuce, chopped tomatoes, and serve with a drizzle of taco sauce.

8. Enjoy.
