1 CUP GOLDEN FLAX SEEDS
½ CUP EACH OF SWEET ONION AND RED BELL PEPPER
1 CUP CHOPPED TOMATOES
1½ TABLESPOONS FRESH LEMON JUICE
½ GARLIC CLOVE
1 STALK OF CELERY
1 TEASPOON EACH OF DRIED BASIL, OREGANO, AND SEA SALT
1. Use an Excalibur food dehydrator or preheat an oven to the lowest setting with the door ajar.
2. Place all ingredients in a food processor and process until uniform. Seeds will remain whole. Turn off the food processor, scrape down the sides, and process again. Entire processing time should be no more than one minute.
3. Use a spatula to spread the mixture evenly over a teflex sheet (non-stick dehydrator sheet) or use a 14 x 14-inch sheet of parchment paper for the oven.
4. Place the teflex sheet on a dehydrator tray or place the parchment paper on a baking tray.
5. Place in the dehydrator at 105˚F or in the oven with the door ajar for five hours.
6. Remove the tray from the dehydrator or oven. Place the teflex or parchment sheet on the counter and score the crackers to your desired size.
