Benefactive: The benefactive case is used with a noun on behalf of whom the action of the sentence is accomplished. This role is sometimes taken care of by other cases (e.g. the dative), but it can appear as a separate case. Below is an example from Shiväisith:
Geilää liivinith vörthevä. (vörth “king,” nominative)
“The warrior attacked for the king (or on behalf of the king).”
Vocative: The vocative case is used with direct address, as when calling someone out by name. Below is an example in Castithan from Syfy’s Defiance:
