INGREDIENTS:

● 1 cup unsalted butter,softened

● 4 cups powdered sugar

● 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice

● 2 teaspoons lemon zest

● 1 tablespoon poppy seeds

INSTRUCTIONS:

a) In a mixing bowl,cream the softened butter until smooth.

b) Gradually add the powdered sugar,one cup at a time,and continue beating until well mixed.

c) Stir in the lemon juice,lemon zest,and poppy seeds.Mix until fully incorporated.

d) Spread or pipe the lemon poppy seed frosting onto cooled cakes or cupcakes.
